We're Hiring for Part-Time Sales Associates in Seattle!

The HER GLOW CANDY SHOP is on the hunt for a few dazzling Part-Time Sales Associates in the Seattle, WA area to join our small team of accessory aficionados! Our store is a vibrant wonderland of trendy baubles, glittering gems, and statement pieces that turn heads and capture hearts.

As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you'll be the ultimate style confidante for our Pop-Up customers, helping them select pieces that accentuate their individuality and leave them feeling fabulous. Your flair for jewelry and accessories, charismatic charm, and knack for customer satisfaction will make you the perfect accessory to our team!

The HER GLOW CANDY SHOP is an online store, but we do in-person Pop Up events around the region. We have a very busy summer and fall 2023 season and are hiring on a rolling basis.

Pay Rate

A flat fee of $175-$250 per event. The rate will vary depending on the event and the Associate’s timeliness and ability to participate.

 What You’ll Do/Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers by helping them select our Candy accessory products.
  • Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  • Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
  • Respond to customers’ questions where necessary.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Manage one (1) of the Candy accessory tables and keep a watchful eye on products in response to large shopping crowds.
  • Alert the shop owner of any potential security issues.
  • Assist with inventory, including re-stocking merchandise and helping with basic Pop-Up set up and take down.

 Requirements:

  • Must be 21 or older. Some of our Pop-Ups will have alcohol available during the event and will require vendors to be over 21 years of age.
  • Must have or have access to reliable transportation to travel to and from Pop-Up events around the Seattle area and throughout the region.
  • Must be physically able to stand for up to or more than one hour to service customers when needed; also comfortable with helping to set up and take down up to two 6-ft portable tables.

 Work Hours and Conditions

Sales Associates will work primarily on weekends at Pop Up events where the HER GLOW CANDY SHOP is a vendor. Events can range from 4-10 hours, including set up and take down.

Events are both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor event set-ups will include a company-provided tent and chairs.

For events that run five (5) hours or more, food and drinks will be provided for the Associate. Bringing your own snacks and food that are aligned with your unique dietary needs is encouraged.

 Retail Sales Associate Skills and Qualifications:

  • A genuine love and appreciation for jewelry, accessories (bags, hats, etc.), and helping people look and feel their best.
  • Excellent customer service

  • Product knowledge (will build over time)
  • People skills
  • High energy level
  • Dependability
  • General math skills
  • Clear and professional verbal communication

 Sales Experience Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of retail experience desired
  • Mid to high level of customer service experience desired
